The electrospindle is in close contact with the bearing outer ring end face and the threaded section and end face have high perpendicularity requirements and can be checked by contact. If the electric spindle has 80% contact, the end faces can be lapped to meet the perpendicularity requirements. This work is important. Its accuracy affects the radial runout of the grinding spindle and thus the surface roughness of the ground workpiece.

Bearing cleaning is an important part of ensuring normal operation and bearing life. Do not use compressed air to blow rotary bearings, as rigid particles in air compression can cause raceway abrasions. Tapered bearings or angular contact ball bearings must pay attention to the direction of bearing installation, otherwise the requirements of rotational accuracy cannot be achieved. Throughout the assembly process, special tools are used to eliminate assembly errors and ensure assembly quality.

Bearing selection. The consistency error in the hole and the outer diameter of each bearing is less than 0.002-0.003mm, maintain 0.004-0.008mm clearance and sleeve bore; maintain 0.0025-0.005mm clearance. In practice, use your thumb to push the bearing into the sleeve. Over-tightening will cause deformation of the outer ring of the bearing, increase in bearing temperature and loosening of the grinding head stiffness.
