The angle between the two carbon brushes and the armature may not be the same, so to ensure that the carbon brushes are not reversed during installation, the carbon brushes must be removed before. It is important to mark the brushes well before removing them. Also remember not to touch the contact surface of the carbon brush and commutator.
At one end of a high speed motor, there is usually a cooling fan, and at the other end there may be a magnet or speed ring for measuring speed.
A mark should be placed on the fan sleeve or between the magnet sleeve and the shaft so that the original mark can be installed in the same position after the repair.
Because the dynamic balance test of the high-speed motor is carried out with the fan blades or speed ring (speed magnet), it must be assembled according to the marks made during disassembly. If the speed ring or fan blade is damaged or not assembled according to the mark, even if the other parts are in good repair. Once assembled, it may cause unbalanced vibration when running at high speed.
When disassembling a high-speed motor, do not use a hammer, punch, etc. to pry hard, but use a pulling horse, and pay attention when using a pulling horse: the top of the pulling horse should be directly on the top eye. The purpose is to protect the top eye of the armature shaft from damage. Before dismantling the end caps that hold the two ends of the electric key, mark the end caps on the bottom seven. So that the machine can be installed as it is after repair.
Disassemble the bearings on the armature should be carefully cleaned, cleaned with clean air house gasoline, to be dry gasoline and then filled with 7014 (or 7018) bearing grease bearing chamber (high-speed motor bearings can not use ordinary grease, molybdenum disulfide). Put in a clean place to be used; if the surface of the commutator is flat and has a purple luster, which is the oxide layer can protect the surface of the commutator, use a soft brush to remove the powder on the surface.
